Bears face Yellowjackets in district home contest

Savannah Cassell | THSOn Friday night, the Bears hosted Elysian Fields in game 11 of district play. After four long-fought quarters, Elysian Fields came out with a 78-55 win.Chris Nickleberry, Braxton Young, and Elijah Garner each made three 3-pointers.

Timpson falls to Gary in Game 9

In game nine of district play, the Timpson Bears hosted the Gary Bobcats in a battle for the number three playoff spot. After four intense quarters, the Bears fell to Gary 51-32, and are currently sitting with the number four seed.

Shelbyville's hoopsters took on the San Augustine Wolves on Jan. 16. The JV team pulled out a 42-38 win, the girls team came up short at 49-29 while the boys team pulled out a 72-68 win in over time after tying 58-58 in regulation play.

Anglin achieves scoring milestone

Senior Ellie Anglin reached a major milestone this season by scoring her 1,000th career point for the Joaquin Lady Rams. Anglin has been a varsity player since 2022 and has started every season, making a consistent impact in every game she has played.
