Lake Livingston angler lands 153 pound alligator gar on 2 pound test line, IGFA record is pendingJust when I thought Art Weston’s resume couldn’t get any more impressive, another incredible big fish story to shock the imagination comes barreling down the pike.

It’s been an eventful spring thus far in the fishing world.

Roughrider soccer moves to regionals with round III win

It is difficult to answer this question: “how many Roughrider teams have made it this far in the playoffs?” Before World War II, the bigger Texas teams were Class A Programs while the smaller ones like Center were Class B.The best Class B schools could do was win the Regional Championship.

Anglers are enjoying the first full spring of fishing at Bois d’ Arc Lake in Fannin County. A few have already found the big ones biting.Located near Bonham, 16,600acre Bois d’ Arc (pronounced Bo-Dark) opened for recreational boat traffic and fishing last April.
