A congratulatory tip of the hat goes out to Dan Bennett and his staff for jobs well done.Bennett is a district supervisor inland fisheries biologist for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Based in Denison, the 44-year-old scientist oversees nearly a dozen public reservoirs across North Texas.

Last week, the Timpson Bears traveled into Bulldog territory to take on Garrison for the annual Battle of the Attoyac matchup.

Grigsby to repeat as state cross country meet runner

Last Tuesday, Timpson sophomore Madison Grigsby traveled to Huntsville to compete in the UIL Region 3 cross country meet. Making her state debut as a freshman in 2024, Grigsby has been thoroughly preparing for a chance at a second state appearance.

Bears to face Garrison in Battle of the Attoyac

This week, the Bears are preparing for the infamous Battle of the Attoyac showdown against the Garrison Bulldogs.Led by running back Jeffrey Richardson, Timpson scored two touchdowns against the Joaquin Rams in a close game last week, but came up just short by a score of 18-12.
