Court considers jail software upgrade, architectural service

Key topics at the Shelby County Commissioners Court special meeting held on Wednesday, June 18 were training for a county new hire, considering architectural consultants and upgrades to the county jail integration software.

At the Texas Press Association convention and 2024 Better Newspaper Contest held over the past weekend in Denton, The Light and Champion won numerous awards in a wide variety of categories to continue its long history of garnering statewide recognition for its journalistic efforts.
