Discussing park grants and calling a general election for November were the main action items at the Center city council meeting held on Monday, July 14.

Center ISD board votes to erect fencing, drops transfer deadline

Accepting a bid for security fencing and removing the deadline for transfer students were the focus of attention at the Center ISD Regular meeting held on Thursday, July 10.Dr.
The Center Noon Lions Club is gearing up for its annual Danny Foster Memorial Fundraiser. This year’s grand prize will be a new Ford Bronco Sport 4x4, provided by Center Motor Company. There will also be four tickets drawn for $250 prizes. The drawing will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, at the East Texas Poultry Festival.
