Several Texas lakes named in annual Bassmaster Top 100 list

Bassmaster Magazine recently unveiled its annual Top 100 Bass Lakes of America list. The comprehensive list is divided into five categories.Among them are the Top 10 reservoirs nationally, along with the Top 25 for four regions of the United States — Central, Southeastern, Northeastern and Western.

ET study shows rat snakes primary culprits in quail nest depredation

A bobwhite quail translocation study currently underway on private property in Polk County has shown some promising results and interesting findings regarding predation of active nests this year, according to Brad Kubecka, the Western Gamebird Director for Tall Timbers.
