Receiving information concerning the Regional flood plan, approving the October officers’ report, and canvassing election votes stood at the forefront of the commissioners’ court regular meeting held on Wed., Nov 12.

Postures of Prayer

Scripture tells us that Jesus prayed often. John 17 records one of those prayers, and while studying this prayer of Jesus, I noticed something interesting about the posture of prayer. “These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father….” (John 17:1).
