The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce will soon establish the 2023-2024 Class of Leadership Shelby County. Applications are currently being accepted for a nine-month long program designed to identify potential leaders and develop within these individuals the knowledge, skills and vision necessary to enable them to actively participate in the enhancement of their communities.

A formal reading of the United States Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights was conducted by the Shelby County Criminal Defense Bar on Friday, June 30, 2023, in the courtroom of the Historic 1885 Courthouse.
