Center ISD recognizes TIA teachers

On May 1, Center ISD honored the district’s Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) designated educators at a special luncheon. There were 21 teachers earning new designations, six teachers advancing to the next level and 53 total TIA-qualified teachers across the district.

Panola College hosts high school welding competition

Panola College hosted a high school welding competition on April 30 in the Matthews Foundation Energy Building, bringing together 52 students from across Texas and Louisiana to showcase their skills.Sebastian Ramones (Carthage) received first place and a $1,500 scholarship.
