JVFD August 20 - 26 Report: Wild Fires

The week of August 20 through 26 was full of widespread wildfires in several communities throughout Shelby County. In addition to hundreds of acres of grass and woods, many homes and other structures were burned with each new wildfire that broke out.

Burn Ban still in effect

Shelby County is currently under a BURN-BAN. This means that outdoor burning is prohibited. The County has had NO significant rain in 3 months.
