JVFD August 20 - 26 Report: Wild Fires

The week of August 20 through 26 was full of widespread wildfires in several communities throughout Shelby County. In addition to hundreds of acres of grass and woods, many homes and other structures were burned with each new wildfire that broke out.

JVFD August 13-19 Report

Over the week of August 13 through 19, the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department had a variety of calls including medical, fire and automotive accidents. Here’s a summary of a few of the more notable events.  Monday evening at 7:23 p.m.

JVFD August 6 - 12 Report

Over the week of August 6 - 12 the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department had four calls. Here’s a summary of the weeks events.  Sunday night at 9:12 p.m. a page was received for a person feeling nauseous and sick at a residence on Stone Street.

JVFD July 30-Aug 5 Report

Over the week of July 30 through August 5, the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department responded to 5 calls. Here’s a summary of the weeks events. Sunday morning at 7:25 a.m. a call came in for an unresponsive person at a residence on County Road 3193.

JVFD July 23 -29 Report

Over the week of July 23 through 29, the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department had a total of five calls. Here’s a summary of the week’s events. Sunday at 8:27 p.m. a page was received for someone with a broken arm at the Joaquin ISD football field.

Over the week of July 9 - 15, the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department had 7 calls. Here’s a summary of the week’s events;  On Monday morning at 7:09 a.m. a call was received for an unresponsive person on County Road 3215.

Over the week of July 2 - 8 the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department had 5 separate calls. Here’s a summary of the week’s events; Tuesday evening at 4:20 P.M. a call was received for a grass fire behind a residence on County Road 3173.

Over the week of June 25 - July 1, the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department responded to just one call. Here’s a summary of the week’s event;  Monday night at 10:59 p.m., a call was received for a single vehicle accident on the Flat Fork Creek bridge.

Over the week of May 28 - June 3, the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department responded to four calls. Here’s a summary of the week’s events. Tuesday afternoon at 3:10 P.M. a call was received for an unresponsive 85 year old patient at a residence on FM 3082.

The week of May 21 through 27 was an eventful one for the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department with 6 separate calls. Here’s a summary of the week’s events; Sunday afternoon at 2:33 P.M. a call was received in regards to a man who had been attacked by a dog on Chalk Street.
