The 2023 Timpson Lighted Christmas Parade took place on Saturday, December 9 in downtown Timpson. The entire parade featured lighted floats ranging from 18-wheelers to horseback. Winners of the parade were announced afterwards.

The Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department held its annual Christmas Banquet on Saturday, December 2. During the banquet, awards were given out to members who displayed outstanding service throughout the year. Stephen Ewing presented the award for “Most Calls Made” to Michael Parker.

The 2023 Joaquin Christmas Festival started early Saturday morning, December 2, in downtown Joaquin, with a car show, food and shop vendors, gingerbread house contest, photos with Santa and many more holiday festivities. The Joaquin Christmas Parade started around 12:30 p.m.
