The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce held a Welcome Party to introduce and welcome the 2023 East Texas Poultry Festival Queen’s Court. Reigning Queen joined the 2023 Court. Each candidate introduced herself and her Escort prior to enjoying dinner catered by B&D Barbecue.

The Annual Poultry Festival Chicken Fajita Lunch, sponsored by East Texas Poultry Supply will be on Wednesday, September 27th at 11:00 a.m. at the Center Fire Department. According to Chairman Bryan Wages, the lunch includes two chicken fajitas, chips, salsa and a drink for $8.
