2023 Dixie Youth Regional World Series

The 2023 Dixie Youth Regional World Series is currently being hosted in Center. The four-day-long tournament started on Wednesday, July 19 and will go until July 23. Fifty teams have arrived here in Center for this year's tournament from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas and Georgia.

The Dixie Youth Regional World Series kicks off activities today, Wednesday July 19. The entire community is invited to the opening ceremonies at Roughrider Stadium beginning at 7:30 p.m. with a fireworks show immediately after.

A ‘Learning Session’ basketball camp is planned for July 12-14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shelbyville High School. Learning sessions for girls 6th – 12th grade and boys 6th and 7th grades will include skills challenge, ‘basketball 101,’ offense, defense.
