The Timpson Bears went head-to-head with the Frankston Indians in the second week of playoffs for the 2022 Texas high school season. Timpson came away with the win, defeating Frankston, 49-7.

The undefeated Bears face Centerville with a a 10-2 record. Centerville defeated Honey Grove 54-13 in their last game.

Timpson kicked off to Frankston who set up for first down on their own 1-yard line. The Indians made it into field goal range but turned the ball on a missed attempt.

Timpson scored first as the first quarter was ending. 7-0 The Bears upped the score to 14-0 with a second TD and point after with about six minutes left in the half. Timpson added another 7 points about four minutes later making it 21-0 which is where the score stood at halftime.

After Frankston kicked off to Timpson to start the second half, the Bears started on their 49-yard line. On a drive that took about three minutes off the clock, the Bears added 7 more points rushing making it 28-0. Timpson scored again rushing making the score 35-0 with four minutes left in the third quarter. In the opening seconds of the fourth quarter, Frankston scored their first points rushing and added the PAT moving the score to 35-7. The Bears added 7 more with about 8 minutes left to play upping the score to 42-7. Timpson kicked off to Frankston but fumbled the ball. Timpson recovered the fumble and returned it for a touchdown. With 8 minutes to go, the score was Timpson 49, Frankston 7.

With two minutes left on the clock, Frankston intercepted a Timpson pass giving them the ball on their own 36-yard line but was unable to score before time ran out.

Final score, Timpson 49, Frankston 7.
