The Shelby County Family Life Center, in partnership with the Shelby County C.A.V.E., will offer a Spring 2023 Basketball League specially designed for young children. Participants will learn fundamental basketball skills such as learning how to dribble, shoot, pass, and other basketball skills and drills in a well-supervised and fun environment.
The league will provide structure and knowledge, and promote a lifestyle of recreational sports to youth at an early age.
This league is for boys and girls grades 1 to 5 (as of September 1, 2022).
The five-game season will run from April 8 to May 6 at the Shelby County Family Life Center Gym located at 1426 ½ Shelbyville Street in Center.
Practice will be once a week and games will be conducted only on Saturdays at the Shelby Family Life Center.
Registration fee is $75 per player, and includes cost for uniform. Registration dates are March 15, 2023, and March 18, 2023. Late signups will be March 25, 2023, will be $90.
