Shelbyville places in Math and Science Coaches State Meet

Shelbyville High School students competed at the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association State Meet in San Antonio on March 23, 2024.

The Number Sense team earned second place team in the 1A/2A division. Individually. Kason Parker earned first place in the senior division and had the highest overall Number Sense score for 1A/2A.

Malachi Sierra earned first place in the Junior division. Ethan Jackson earned second place in the sophomore division. Aiden Swindle earned fourth place in the freshman division. Rylan Barbee earned tenth place in the freshman division.

The coach for the math team is Cole Harrison.
