Riders 4 Christ Club performs community cleanup program

Students from the Riders 4 Christ Club met at the Bealls shopping center recently for a community cleanup project. More than a dozen students gave up their Saturday morning to begin cleaning the entire area collecting almost 20 bags of garbage. The project was initiated by the students to demonstrate their commitment to service and the teachings of Jesus, who said, “If anyone would be first, he must be last and servant of all.” Service is one of the cornerstones of the club’s mission in addition to sharing the gospel and helping students live a Christian lifestyle in a challenging world.
