The historic 1885 Shelby County Courthouse and much of the rest of the county was shrouded in fog Friday morning.

For awhile the weathervane atop the courthouse could not be seen because the fog was so thick. By mid-morning on Friday the fog around the downtown square had lifted.
The National Weather Service in Shreveport forecasts continued cloudy conditions throughout the rest of Friday with a high temperatures in the upper 60s.
