Sharon Ann (Lout) Conway, 76, of Center, Texas, passed away on October 3, 2023, surrounded by loved ones in Nacogdoches. She was born on May 16, 1947, in Center to the late Ewell Maurice Lout and Dorothy LaVerne (Sanders) Lout. 

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023, at Center First UPC. Interment followed at Oaklawn Memorial Park.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at Center First UPC. Also, the family received friends on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. before the service.

Sharon was born and raised in Shelby County. She graduated from Center High School. She met the love of her life, Luther Conway, through mutual friends.  The two were married on May 12, 1967, and shared more than 56 years together. They raised two wonderful children, Andrea and Justin. Sharon enjoyed feeding her animals, working in her flower beds, and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother (ShaSha) as her grandkids knew her. She loved spending time with her family. Especially those grandkids and great grandkids. Sharon loved the Lord and served him through Center First UPC. She is survived by her husband, Luther Conway. Daughter, Andrea Bartley and husband Eric. Son, Justin Conway and wife Larissa.

Grandchildren, Trenton Bartley and wife Kirsten, Madalyn Martinez and husband Chad, Azlyn Conway, and Anzly Conway.

Great-grandchildren, Bodhi Bartley, Ellia Martinez, Jovie Bartley, and Jax Bartley.

Sister, Pam Parker and husband Robby.

Numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Ewell Maurice and Dorothy Lout; brothers, Edward Lout, Bobby Lout, and Alton Lout.

Pallbearers were Trenton Bartley, Chad Martinez, Randy Lout, Chad Nations, Kris Sanderson, David Gilchrist, Melvin Broadway, and David Hailey.
