Hicks Mortuary is announcing funeral service for Mr. Robert Earl Thomas “Knotty” (78) Mr. Thomas was born to the late Jesse Thomas and Adline Thompson Thomas in Center on February 2, 1945. Robert Earl Thomas died on August 30, 2023, at Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches. Funeral service will be on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Revival Tabernacle located at 2398 State Hwy 87N Center, Texas 75935. Bro. Johnnie Johnson will be officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 8, 2023, at Hicks Chapel from the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Committal will be in Thompson Cemetery in Shelbyville.
