Mary Jane (Bowen) Stamps, 72, of Timpson, Texas, passed away on September 28, 2023, surrounded by loved ones in Timpson. She was born on November 16, 1950, in Livingston, Texas, to the late Leon Milo Bowen and Margie (Ainsworth) Bowen.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 PM Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Timpson, Texas, with Bro. Fred Wilcox officiating. Interment followed at Shady Grove Cemetery.
Visitation was held prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Stamps.
Sons, Brandon Bowen and wife Callie; Patrick Hendrick and wife Candace; Kirk Stamps and wife Brandi; Ryan Stamps and wife Kathryn.
Daughters, Dana Reynolds and husband Mark; and Courtney Sanchez and husband Antowan.
Brothers, James Bowen and wife Elaine; David Bowen; Jerry Bowen and wife Martha; Lee Bowen and wife Mindi; Norman Bowen and wife Eve.
Sisters, Margie Powell and husband Steve; Nita Bowen; Rita Bowen; and Sue Dodson.
Seven grandsons; five granddaughters; numerous nieces and nephews
And a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.
