Alice Lavern Hinton Hall, 91, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026, in Center, Texas. Mrs. Hall was born August 4, 1934, in Shelbyville, Texas, to Annie Mae Brady Hinton and Henry Ross Hinton. Alice was a retired beautician. She was a lifetime member of Order of the Eastern Star. She was a great-great-granddaughter of John Ross, Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation.

Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Alice was a member of Hurst Street Church of Christ. Tim Perkins officiated the service. Interment followed at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Ann Goings; daughter-in-law, Rene McDaniel; son, Martin Wayne McDaniel; stepdaughters, Carol Looney and husband, Gary, and Nancy Keeling; grandchildren, Neil Goings and wife, Julia, Sara Weaver and husband, David, and Chelsea Mc-Daniel; step-grandchildren, Caleb Wright and wife, Amanda, and Beau Donaldson; great-grandchildren, Dylan Weaver, Bryan Weaver and wife, McKenzie, Brianna Samples, Mylee Donaldson, Emily Goings, Natalie Goings, Wyatt Weaver, and Aubrey Weaver; sister-in-law, Thelma Hinton; also a number of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Weldon Hall; first husband and father of her children, Grady Melvin McDaniel; parents, Annie Hinton and Henry Hinton; son, George Melvin McDaniel; brother, Charles Henry Hinton; sonin- law, Thomas Eugene Goings; granddaughter, Jennifer McDaniel Weaver; great-grandson, David Charles Weaver; and great-granddaughter, Emily Taylor Weaver.

Pallbearers will be Neil Goings, Brad Hinton, Clayton Hinton, Darrell McDaniel, Cole Austin McDaniel, and Terry Walton.

The family wants to say thank you to all the staff of Holiday Nursing and Rehabilitation and Heartto- Heart Hospice for their gentle and loving care of Mrs. Hall during her final days. They also showed so much care and concern for the family members.
