John Howard Peel passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on May 6, 2025. He was born in Pueblo, Colorado on January 9, 1949, to Helmer Lawrence Bertilson and Norma Maxine Janney. He was later legally adopted by his stepfather, Robert Lee Peel.
Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Truitt Cemetery in Joaquin with Bro. Gordon Vaughn officiating.
