Ethel Lavoice Bailey Gee passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, with her children by her side. She was born September 1, 1933, to Kaywood and Lona Bailey in the Neuville Community of Shelby County, Texas.
Graveside services were held Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Neuville Community Cemetery, under the direction of Mangum Funeral Home.
She worked alongside Johnny at Gee Lumber Company for her entire married life until they retired in 1992. In addition to supporting Johnny, she raised four children and maintained her home. She was a proud graduate of the Center High School Class of 1954.
Ethel was the last of nine siblings and they are all now reunited, as well as her parents and in-laws, Sidney and Bonnie Lucille Gee.
She is survived by her children. Linda Gee Miller and husband, Dr. Keith Miller, David Gee and Richard Todd Gee; grandchildren, Reid Miller and Ryan Miller; and daughter-in-law, Stacy Gee.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Johnny Maurice Gee and her son, Mike Gee.
