Dennis was born to the late O’Dell Gardner and Annie Mae Williams Gardner on October 12, 1957, in Houston, Texas. Dennis died on December 7, 2024, at his residence. Memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church, located at 2905 Cushing Street Houston, Texas 77026. Rev. Cedric Williams, Sr. was the Eulogist. Visitation was held on Saturday December 21, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
He is survived by his sons, Dennis Ray Gardner, Jr, Reginald Gardner, and Steve Washington; brother, Dale Lynn Gardner; sisters, Ever L. Gardner-Armstrong, Artie Gardner Onayemi, Accie Smith, and Doris Gardner.
