The Shelbyville Lady Dragons are the 2023 New Summerfield Tournament Champions after defeating the Martinsville Lady Pirates in the championship game 50-47. The Timpson Bears continue to roll through Texas 2A-DI after defeating the Wolfe City Wolves 58-20 in the area round. The Wolves left this matchup with a final overall record of 9-3, while the Bears have maintained a perfect, undefeated season through all 12 games so far this season.
