The Piney Woods Photographic Society held their regular monthly meeting this past Saturday at the First Methodist Church, 211 Cora St., Center, TX.
The October Challenge was "Colors" Members submitted photographs of this choice featuring Complimentary colors, Analogous colors and Monochromatic colors as shown on the color wheel. After discussion and voting the favorites are as follows:
1st Place Favorite: Debra Cockrell, using complimentary colors
2nd Place Favorite: Billie F. Jones, showing monochromatic colors using browns
A 3 way tie for 3rd Place Favorite: Anna Jones, Complimentary colors in painted church
A 3 way tie for 3rd Place Favorite: Bobbie J. Wood complimentary colors in the icing on a cake
A 3 way tie for 3rd Place Favorite: LeaAnn Robertson, complimentary colors with flowers
