Several documents,one dating to 1849 contains a list of Shelby County surveys compiled for county maps. Another is a history of post offices and communities.
A photo of Daniel McSwain III who was a part of building the 1885 Historic Courthouse in Center is part of the new exhibit at the Shelby County Museum.
