Timpson ISD will be participating in the following Federal Programs during the 2023-2024 school year: Title I, Part A- Improving Basic Programs Operated by Local Education Agencies Title II, Part A-Supporting Effective Instruction Title IV, Part A- Student Support and Academic Enrichment Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA-B Formula and Preschool) Teachers, Paraprofessionals, Principals, Other School Personnel, Parents, Community Members, and Business Representatives are invited to the 2023-2024 meeting on July 11 , 2023, at 6:15 p.m. The focus of this meeting, to be held a t the Administration Building Board Room will include planning the 2023-2024 program activities and receiving input into the preparation of the application for funding. A key focus will be the coordination and integration of these funding sources and programs into the educational system of Timpson ISD.
Other opportunities to attend the annual meeting include: July 27 at 10:00 a.m. at the Administration Building Board Room Title I, Part A Schoolwide Campuses Only During the meeting, staff from Title I Schoolwide Campuses will present parents with a draft of a Title I, Part A Parent and Family Engagement Policy and School/Parent Compact/ Pledge. We are requesting input for these two documents to ensure that Parent Involvement is exemplary.
