Esther Mergerson, daughter of Lydia Blake of Center, graduated Magna Cum Laude at Spelman College in Atlanta, Ga., May 21.
The 2019 Center High School graduate earned a B.A. Degree in Psychology with a Mental Health Concentration. “There’s so much I can say about my journey at Spelman,” said Mergerson. “But one phrase that sums it all up is ‘God Did.’ By coming to Spelman, I knew I would be the start of a legacy. I knew that this step was for more than just me.”
Spelman College is ranked number one among historically black colleges and universities.
