The Sam Samford Lodge No. 149 in Center is keeping water to first responders stocked up. Last week’s deliveries include one to the Center Police Department and one to the Center Fire Department. Present for the fire department delivery were (left to right) Sam Samford Lodge Worshipful Master Paul Reagan, Sam Samford Lodge member Sammy Arnold, and representing the Center Fire Department, Derrick Lightfoot.
At the Center Police Department, officers pitched in to unload the cases of bottled water as Reagan (left in photo) aided. The water for both deliveries was donated by the High Roller Group in Center. A special thanks was extended by Arnold to Kenneth Hardy Machine Shop and the City of Center for the generous use of their equipment in loading and unloading the pallets of water.
