Mimi’s Plant Nursery celebrated with the Chamber of Commerce, family and members of the public Thursday, May 4, with a ribbon cutting at 10:00 A.M. The ribbon cutting took place at the nursery located at 9334 Highway 7 E in Joaquin.
Owner, Melissa Evans, says she is so thankful to everyone who came out. She has a wide selection of potted plants, hanging baskets, roses, bedding plants, annuals, perennials and garden decorations. Melissa also specializes in customized pots with your choice of plants.
“When we first started this, all we had was the greenhouse and $1200,” said Melissa.
Now, Mimi’s Plant Nursery is stocked full of flowers, roses and plants from inside the greenhouse to outside the greenhouse.
“I make custom pots for customers, you can bring your own pot, or I have a lot of pots here available as well,” she said.
Mimi’s Plant Nursery is open Thursday through Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
