The Center Church of Christ at 110 Hurst Street in Center invites everyone to an area-wide singing and gospel meeting April 21 through 23, 2023 to hear speaker Phil Sanders of the nationally televised program “In Search of the Lord's Way.”
Friday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. will be the area wide singing with refreshments to follow. Saturday, April 22 at 7:00 p.m. will be gospel preaching with guest speaker Phil Sanders. Sunday, April 23, Bible class at 9:45 a.m. and worship at 10:45 a.m. will again feature guest speaker Phil Sanders. A covered dish luncheon will immediately follow the morning worship service.
Sanders resides in Edmond, Okla. He and his wife, Jackie, are the parents of four daughters, Christa, Chara and Tara, and Laura, plus eleven grandchildren. He is a 1974 graduate of Oklahoma Christian College and a 1983 graduate of Harding Graduate School of Religion in Bible and Biblical Languages. He holds an M.A.R. in Christian Doctrine from the Theological University of America and a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies.
He serves as the speaker for “In Search of the Lord’s Way,” a nationally broadcasted television ministry of Edmond Church of Christ. He is an instructor at Amridge University and the Theological University of America. Sanders has been involved in active ministry for more than 42 years, and Former Assistant Director and Instructor, Nashville School of Preaching and Biblical Studies since 1998.
