The Shelby County Sheriff ’s Office (SCSO) will host a CPR/AED course for anyone wanting to attend Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023. Two class times are available: 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The course will be held at the Windham Civic Center located at 146 Express Blvd in Center.
The instructor will be SCSO Captain D.J. Dickerson, a certified CPR/AED & First Aid instructor through the American Health & Safety Institute.
The fee is $35. The course will cover topics of CPR for adult, child, and infant, as well as anti- choking training.
The course will also include certification in the operation of an AED (automated external defibrillator).
Each attendee successfully completing the CPR/AED course will receive a certification card valid for two years.
Each course time slot will be limited to 20 attendees, and will be “first come, first serve.” Payment is required to secure your spot.
