Richard Lundie is looking for a few good players who want to start a Dominoes Club in Shelby County.
“Looking for players that can take a loss as well as a win. Looking for players who want to play on Friday nights from 6 to 10 p.m., and assist in the forming of this club,” said Lundie.
“There are all types of games played here in Shelby County, but I have not seen a Dominoes Club. I want to know if you good people want to play this game on a weekly basis with others you may, or may not know, in good fellowship.
“I have enjoyed playing this game in Germany, Panama, Southeast Asia, Korea, and different places here in the states. I have found that people create so many rules but not follow the basic rules. This is why I want to get with others in the forming of a club here in Shelby County, to have a meeting to discuss the rules we will follow, and to play by those rules we create.
“My first rule would be, if you cannot take a loss, do not play. I would hope that we can make it a family environment where family can attend and be comfortable in the presence of all who are attending.
“If you are interest, please come to the first meeting Friday, February 10 at 6 p.m. at The Shop, 289 MLK St. in Tenaha, Texas. The Shop in located on 59 South next to the Railroad underpass. Come out and let’s meet.”
