MLK Day parade planned for Monday

  • The annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day parade is set for Monday, January 17.The parade will start on the H&S Grocery parking lot on Shelbyville street, proceed to MLK Boulevard where it will turn right and continue to Perry Sampson park.The city will provide fire apparatus to lead the procession and police services for route safety and clearance. No activities at Perry Sampson Park have been announced. Memorial to Dr. Martin Luther King - Washington, D.C,
