Veterans Day Salute

The Light and Champion's "Veterans Day Salute" will pay tribute to our local veterans in print and on our website on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Honor their service by placing their photo in our special section! To have a photo of your local veteran included in our special section, please submit your photo of your veteran in uniform in care of The Light and Champion by Monday, November 8 at 5:00 p.m. Please include the veteran's name, branch of service, rank, date of service and local city. We can accept your photos via email at news@lightandchampion.com and in-person at our office located at 137 San Augustine Street on the historic downtown square in Center.
