Shelbyville athlete Emily Pharris is a prime example of hard work and dedication that pays off. After winning the Gold last year, it could’ve been easy for Emily to just be complacent and go through the motions going into this season. However, Emily being the winner that she is, not only continued to show up and push herself to new levels she also took her leadership to a new level.

Let me start off by saying how thankful I am for the residents of Shelby County. Many of you I have known for my entire life, and others of you I have grown to know over the years. I am very thankful for the relationships I have gained during my time in law enforcement and as your sheriff.
