Panola College has announced students named to the President’s and Dean’s Lists for the Fall 2023 semester. Qualifications for the President’s List include completing the semester with a GPA between 3.8 and 4.0 with a minimum of 12 semester credit hours in courses applying toward an associate degree or certification.

Vietnam Peace Accord of 1973 and those who served during the Vietnam War were remembered Friday, Jan. 26, 2023.

The Paris Peace Accord ending the Vietnam War was signed January 27, 1973, and was followed by the withdrawal of the remaining American troops. The terms of the accord called for a complete ceasefire in South Vietnam, allowed North Vietnamese forces to retain the territory they had captured, release of US prisoners of war, and called for both sides to find a political solution to the conflict.
