Center High School UIL attended their first academic competition this weekend at Pine Tree High School where they did an outstanding job. Aldo Salazar started the day with a first place finish in Current Issues and Events. Aldo is coached by Cody Palm.

Timpson ISD held its district-wide Veterans Day program on Tuesday to give honor and recognition to the area’s veterans. Student representatives from each campus participated in the ceremony where each veteran was recognized for their service.

The October meeting of the Tenaha city council once again was the scene of discord from some members of the public aimed at the town’s mayor with one of the complainants being asked to leave the building during the course of the meeting.

Timpson ISD is pleased to announce Dr. Terry Everitt has been named as the Lone Finalist to serve as the new Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Everitt is currently serving as an Assistant Superintendent in Henderson ISD. The district will be required to wait the State mandated 21 days before Dr.
