Timpson enjoyed having its 2025 Lighted Christmas parade last week, Sunday, Dec. 7. There was a large turnout of spectators and a wonderful parade and parade entries that put all of our community in the Christmas spirit.

Body found near Possum Trot area

On the morning of Monday, Dec. 15, it was reported by a caller to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office that a body was seen near the front of a Possum Trot area house. Shelby County Sheriff’s Office personnel, along with District Attorney Karren Price, responded to the scene.
