The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library held an Open House last week to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. The library made the move to its current building in November of 1974 from its former location on Pecan Street.

Ready to fight

Opposition to several oilfield solid waste disposal sites along the Texas-Louisiana border, including one in Shelby County continues to grow.
