Waffles With a Twist hits Center, Texas
“Waffles With a Twist” food truck hit Center, TX Friday, April 28, parking at Pine Grove Nursing Home, serving lunch from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Owner of Waffles With a Twist, Sonya Reid, says they were sold out by 2:00 P.M.
“I try to make it out here to Center once a month,” said Reid. “Tomorrow I’ll be in Fankston. My truck does not sit still,” she said.
Reid started her waffle truck in 2020 during COVID-19, and says it hasn’t stopped growing since.
“We are a family owned business, me and my son are always competing to see who has the best waffles,” she said.
Some of the waffle items on the menu include chicken and waffles, fruity pebble waffles, strawberry and banana waffles and much more.

Reid says her signature waffles and herself will be back in Center on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
