Timpson ISD's Alexis Grigsby makes history signing with SFA D1

Thursday, November 9, Timpson High School's senior Alexis Grigsby became the first female athlete in Timpson history to sign a division 1 scholarship in any sport. 

During Thursday's pep rally, Grigsby signed with SFA to play D1 softball. "Thank you everyone who came out to support me," said Grigsby. "Most importantly, I want to thank God for giving me the ability to play the sport that I love, and my parents for supporting me all these years. I also want to thank all my coaches throughout the years that have helped shape me into the player that I am today. Thank ya'll for everything."
