Timpson Area Genealogy and Heritage Society will welcome Bill O'Neal as our speaker Wednesday, May 17, at 2:00 P.M. at the Timpson Public Library. He will discuss the musical traditions of Texas and the book on which he recently collaborated with Tommie Ritter Smith, The Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. Please join us to hear this highly entertaining speaker.
Mr.O'Neal has authored over 40 books, as well as numerous papers and articles. Many people enjoyed Mr. O'Neal as a History Professor at Panola College. While he possesses too many accolades to mention, notably, he served a 6 year tenure as Texas Sate Historian.
