Austin Street reconstruction was drawing closer to completion Tuesday as pouring concrete resumed. Frequent rain in the last two weeks had halted progress. The reconstruction replacing asphalt with concrete is aimed at correcting a drainage issue. See tomorrow’s edition of The Light and Champion for coverage of this week’s Center City Council.
