The Piney Woods Photographic Society (PWPS) regular monthly meeting was Saturday, March 16. The March Challenge was “Still Life Photography” and included was a workshop on “Landscapes Cloud Photography.”

Challenge photos were submitted by club members for discussion and voting for club favorites.

“Wash Day” by Bobbie Jean Wood and “Twisted Steel” by Anna Jones tied for first place favorite.

The PWPS is a photography club for camera enthusiasts of all skills and interests. Our goal is to help anyone become a better photographer and provide a place to meet others who share a passion for photography with programs, activities, information and instruction for all skill levels in an environment of support and cooperation.

Visitors are welcome to attend meetings held on the third Saturday of the month, at the First Methodist Church, 211 Porter St. in Center.
