Funeral services for Shelby County Sheriff ’s Office Deputy Matthew Pierson were held Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023, at Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Lufkin. A public visitation preceded the 10 a.m. service. Burial followed at Blue Springs Cemetery in Etoile.
