  • “Old Man Winter” introduced itself to East Texas Monday afternoon as a winter storm front swept through the region, dropping snow flurries in Shelby County. There were some small accumulations, but none of it stuck past Tuesday morning. The front did leave behind bitterly cold weather, with lows in the teens Tuesday and Wednesday. Warmer temperatures are expected this weekend.
